Mobile phone enquiry?
Please, can somebody suggest to me a good mobile phone I can buy that has at least 5 megapixel camera, supports 3g, has touchscreen, and is not more than £200. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your response. I forgot to add that I will prefer a phone that is not locked to a particular provider (if available), as I will prefer to continue using my current numbers in UK, and if possible use the phone outside UK with other sim cards when I travel.
I would go for the MyTouch 3g or the MyTouch 3g slide if you have Tmobile. These are 64.20£, and 116.73£. The MT3g has a, a 3.2 MP camera, full touchscreen with 3g, and runs on android. The MT3GSlide has a very nice physical keyboard (as well as swype for touchscreen typing), a large screen, a 5 MP camera,and runs on android with a very nice modified version of HTC sense . The bonus with these is that you get Tmobile’s awesome 3g network.
Verizon: I would go for the Droid Incredible (129.7) or the Droid X (129.7) The Droid Incredible runs on Android 2.1 with HTC sense, has a full touchscreen, 3G and an 8 MP camera. The Droid X has basically everything that the Droid incredible has but has a bigger screen and uses motoblur instead of HTC sense.
AT&T: iPhone 4 of course. Its 130 for 8Gigs of storage or 195 for 16 gigs of storage. It uses iOS4 which is apples own operating system. It features a 5 MP back camera and a VGA front facing camera. It has a sleek design and 3g. However, you are restricted to AT&Ts horrible 3g network.
Sprint: HTC Evo 4g. This phone is much like the iPhone 4, with an 8MP camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. It runs android 2.2 froyo with HTC sense. It is quite large but features a beautiful screen and has a kickstand so you can stand it up to watch movies. It supports 3g and the new 4g network that is coming out on Sprint.
