Mobile phone etiquette?
Do you think it should go without saying that it’s not appropriate to walk into a medical practice talking loudly on your mobile phone while standing at the reception desk? This happened to me before, and I was tending to a patient and had to talk louder to talk over this person talking on their phone! I’m thinking of making up signs, like “As a courtesy to other people, could you please refrain from using your phone in this clinic”. What do you think? We shouldn’t have to make signs for stuff like that, but apparently people need to be told what is and isn’t appropriate!
Seems perfectly appropriate to make such a sign. Shame you have to though.
