Anyone with Virgin Mobile USA, would you recommend it?
My contract with AT&T is gonna be up pretty soon, and I’m looking to go with Virgin Mobile. I want to because of the $25 a month for unlimited data and texting, I’ve been looking at videos and reviews of the Optimus V and it seems really good for my first android phone. What I want to know about though is the coverage.Just based on the coverage maps their service looks pretty flimsy compared to other major carriers. I live in southern Pennsylvania, and make frequent trips to Maryland. The website says I should be covered. But for bigger trips, especially west it looks like the coverage gets really spotty. And this summer I’ll be on a vacation to Hawaii. Is there good coverage there? So would you recommend the Optimus and Virgin Mobile’s service?
Coverage of Virgin is same as 3G coverage of Sprint because Virgin is it’s prepaid branch and uses it’s network.
The Optimus V is the best phone available on Virgin. It has Android 2.2 which is much better than 2.1, and has a good screen resolution. A steal at $149.
So yes, I recommend both Virgin and your choice, Optimus V
