Mobile Phones With Nfc

Have you used your mobile phone to make a contactless payment?
Curious if anyone here has used their mobile phone to make a contactless payment? Just so there is no confusion, I am talking about the payment feature which allows you to wave your mobile phone with NFC (Near Field Communication) in front of credit card readers at places like drug stores, fast food restaurants, gas stations, etc. to make a payment with your contactless payment enabled MasterCard account.
Tried speaking with Citi as have a MasterCard with them which has the Payment Tag (key fob which transmits your data to allow purchases so you don’t have to actually carry around your physical plastic credit card). However, they don’t know anything about the mobile phone option. Hoping someone in this forum is currently using their mobile phone to make contactless payments.
Note: I am not asking if you have made a payment to your credit card company using your mobile phone. That is mobile banking and that has nothing to do with what I am asking about.
I used it all the time overseas.
But I haven’t even seen any since I’ve been back in the gold ole’ U.S. of A.
(Whatever happened to us being the leaders in everything?)
