If I use my Android Moto Cliq 1 with the Walmart Family Mobile plan will I still get Android OS updates?
I looked everywhere but I can’t find the answer. This is the phone with the slide out keyboard not the XT phone. If I can’t get the update through Walmart (TMO), can I buy it off Ebay from a third party?? Please let me know.
Too update to the latest android 2.1 you go to Motorola and follow the instructions. The carrier has nothing to do with it. Too you use the Walmart carrier you might have to unlock the phone to use it. But since Walmart plan is powered by tmoblie you probably will not have to do that. Too update it. See Link.
