Motorola Cell Phones Mq4
How do I tell what model my Motorola cell phone is (see details below)?
I found the following number on the sticker in the battery compartment but still can’t find a model name:
MQ4-4411A11
It’s an old, out-of-service phone that I am trying to get photos off of. I have the SIM card but assume that I have to find a cord that I can plug in between my phone and computer in order to retrieve the pics.
But I need a model # or name in order to figure out what cord I should purchase ..
It’s a Cingular phone if that matters.
thats probably the serial number of the phone itself.
You have a couple of alternatives….
1, take the phone into a phone shop and ask what model it is in there. They will almost certainly be able to help.
2, Check to see if the plug shape is that of a mini-usb. My last 3 phones have been and they have been 3 different makes. Mini-usb cables are reasonably easy to get hold of, you could even borrow a friends. My motorola one worked in my Samsung phone too.
