Does anyone know why I am getting a busy signal for my new number and no dial tone?
I Opened an account for At & t. I got a land line. They let me pick the phone number That I wanted and I Was Turned suppose to get it on May 27 2011 8am -8p.m. So I call my phone number from my cell phone and I get a busy signal. At first it Would Say That the number is not yet connected. Now I am getting a busy signal.When I pick up my phone, I dont get a dial tone or anything. I call technical support and They Say That They Even dont see an account for me, But Took out 50 bucks Att Because out of my account of my credit check. What is going on? I think I Have to Wait Until After all the way to contact Them memorial day in the customer service dept. Experience to anyone you busy Their number for signal But With No dial tone?
At your landline location, unplug all your phones, and try calling again With Your Cell. If it is still busy, you Have a short in your ring-tip line. You have it in May your home, or your drop and entre the Central Office, In Which Case Should you call for repair service on Another phone. If the line rings when to all your phones are unplugged, find the culprit and trash it.!
