New Cell Phone Study
I’m getting a new cell phone… what one will work in London?
My cell phone plan is up soon-ish and I’ll be getting a new phone in January. I’m going to be studying abroad in London over the summer and I want to be able to bring my phone with me to use there.
I have Verizon right now but I’m thinking about getting a Sidekick from T-mobile. Will that be able to work there and if not, what will I have to do to get it to work?
Also, will my current cell phone plan/charges stay the same even if I’m calling from London to the US or is it entirely different?
The best idea would be to get an UNLOCKED QUAD BAND gsm phone… that way you can buy a SIM CARD in London with a local carrier and your calls won’t be expensive…
