New Smart Phones Samsung
Can I buy an unlocked phone online and use it with my SIM and NOT have my carrier know I’ve switched phones?
I want to buy a Samsung Jack or similar smart phone online (and unlocked) and use my current SIM card (with AT&T) in the phone without having to buy their data plan. Will AT&T know I’ve switched phones. They have said they’ll automatically charge me the data plan. Can they really do this if I don’t tell them I have a new smart phone??
yes you can use the sim card the phone. but you cannot use data plan. your sim card does not have it activated.
how ever for some reason it will pick up wifi without the card. but as soon as you put the card back in it denies you even wifi and thats free from a router not at&t. go figure
