Help Selecting new cell phone for sprint?
okay so i have sprint and i am getting a new phone next week. right now i have the LG lotus and im so sick of it. i’ve had it for a year and i just really hate it.
sooo i’ve been looking between the blackberry curve, the HTC hero, palm pre. palm pixi.
which ones better?
what are your opinions on them?
and do you like only having a touchscreen phone?
BB are good for email and texting. Other than that not so good.
The Palm Pre. Only phone to EVER get a 5 star rating from G4Tv, WOn laptop magazines best phone. Best new device at the CES show. HP just bought Palm for billions. Why,,, because the OS that the Pre runs on is probably the best on the market today. Try it out, you have to use it and then decide for yourself. The Pre’s takes multi tasking to a new level, very elegant. Card system works great. You can shrink apps switch back and fourth with a flick. Open software and palm lets you customize the phone any way you want. I have 25 tweaks on my phone to make it perfect for my use. Download the UberKernel and watch the processor speed up to 800 mhz and the phone simply flies. The UberKernel is safe over 100k people have downloaded it.
Most people don’t realize how good the Pre really is. Palm did a very bad job marketing it. But look for that to change now that HP is pouring big $$ into marketing the Pre.
The mobile hotspot feature is awesome too. My phone can become a hotspot for my laptop or up to 5 devices.
Free software updates from Palm every couple months keeps the phone up-to-date. To me that’s huge. When new features come out I get them too, so I am never outdated.
