Do cell phones such as Blackberrys and Iphones use the SIM card as a regular Nokia cell phone?
I am very unfamiliar with cell phone technology, so i need help. I have a Nokia cell phone right now. can i just buy a blackberry or iphone and stick in my nokia sim card? or do i have to go to the Orange store and they will set the whole thing up for me? Dont laugh at my lack of knowledge! thanx.
newer phones require newer sims to use both the phone and network to its fullest. Im assuming you got your nokia a while back and it came with the sim in question? if so then you should probably get a new sim anyway.
If you buy a new smartphone the service provider should swap the sim out for you anyway.
