orange mobile phones abroad
Accidentally loaded mobile internet abroad PLEASE HELP! :( ?

I am in corfu on holiday I have an LG phone on a pay monthly Orange contract for £20 a month. Today I opened my phone and noticed it had loaded the WEATHER APPLICATION and i immediately closed it, but i saw it had said “update failed” and was left on the weather homepage. I know it was for over 30 minutes because at 6:30pm i had a text form orange saying thank you for using internet abroad, and I checked it at 7:05pm. Also my phone had the 3G sign at the top, so i guess it had been connected :’(

NOW! It costs £3 per MB of 3G, so can anyone PLEASE, PLEASE, tell me how much KB or MB this could have used because I dont have a clue, and to be honest I am very scared of how much it could cost. :( PLEASE somebody answer and help me? :(

Thank you!

Doubt its used a lot, probably a few hundred kilobytes.

If you are in the EU there is a new law saying that cost for roaming is limited to 50 euros per month unless you have extended this and you would get a message when you reach 80% of this (40 euros or about £30-35). http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/activities/roaming/regulation/index_en.htm#new_rules. As long as your company is adhering to this you have spent less.

If your company tries to charge more then they are breaking the law.
