Refurbished Cell Phones Sprint

Need new cell phone, what do I do?
I need a new phone. I am with Sprint, and our contract doesn’t end for another year. But let’s say I find a nice refurbished one on ebay, can I go into the store with the new phone and say that I want this to be my phone without having to buy a new plan?
to the people above me, Sprint is CDMA, not GSM. They don’t have SIM cards!!!
and i believe you can do that. there’s no reason for them not to let you switch phones and not get a new plan. if they won’t, just say that your old phone is broken or something and you need this phone (without a new plan of course)
