Mobilephone that can view TV programmes?
I have seen a few brands of mobile phones that have tv function (meaning can watch tv on the cell phones’ screen) but all are not famous Brands from China. I wonder why the famous top manufacturers like Nokia, Sony Ericcson, Motorola, Samsung etc dont have this tv function?
Is it only China have the know how to incorporate tv function into hand phones?
(I am in Singapore, I wonder if such cell phones are available for sale in your country)
That TV function is not what you are hoping it to be, especially as TV signals go digital at least in North America that Wont be a useful function on those Chinese phones. Look into a device called Slingbox from Slingmedia. It forwards all your home TV through your high speed internet service to where ever you get Internet access. It will work on your N95 or N96 Nokia phones. as well as Smart phones offered by a lot of major manufactures. I use Slingbox on my phone and never miss another Football game !
