Setting Up Iphone Voicemail

How to set up voice mail on new iphone 3g?
I live in India, and my iPhone 3G is from Bharti Airtel.I want to setup voicemail on my iPhone,but I am unable to.
Please help,and tell me detailed instruction,how to setup.

Just press on the phone icon
On the far right bottom side there should be a voicemail
Press Voicemail
I believe it should say that you need to set up your vociemail
