Are they perhaps “rent a crowds” to create more interest in this gadget or geniune people in dire need of a 3g phone with Google Android operating system video calling and access to thousands of applications. We do know that the sale of smartphones is the fastest growing trend in the cellphone market today they sold 1.7 million Iphone 4′s in 3 days of its initial release. Perhaps people want “portability” as opposed to lugging a 3kg laptop around all day and after all smart phones are basically mini sized handheld computers.

iPhone 4 is NOT the best phone. the second answer got that wrong. iPHone 4 runs on Apple’s own operating system. Many phones have already switched to android. Google android benefits and you’ll see.
