Is It True That You Can Put Sprint Phones On Cricket Plans?
Yes and no. It depends on what market you are in. Cricket’s newer markets are Trimode only. That’s basically a type of phone that Sprint does not make. You can flash a Sprint dual band phone over to Cricket’s older dual band markets, but if you take that phone to a newer Trimode area, it won’t work except in roaming mode.Basically, you’d be paying a lot more per minute because your dual band is using some other companies network and Cricket has to pay them to allow that. That means you pay Cricket a lot more then the flat rate .
Call your local Cricket dealer up and ask them if you are in a Trimode market. The only companies carrying all Trimode models besides Cricket are Metro and I believe Pocket or Revol wireless.
