buying mobile phones on ebay?
i have places a couple of bids on 2 mobile phones on ebay but one says it is the chinese version and some features may not work in the UK. what features would these be ive sent a message to one seller but heard nothing back. is it worth bidding on these phones or not. thanks

It is a n96 i have one already (purchased from t.mobile) and was either going to give it to a sibling or sell it on. The bid started from 1p. maybe it is too good to be true i am only the second bidder and put it up to £1.40. i shall see if he gets back to me.
why is it ‘silly’ to have more than one phone?
if you haven’t heard anything back i would def not buy the phone…as for the features, it would depend on what phone it was, some of the foreign phones do not support british sim cards for a start.they might not support text messaging or internet my friend bought the chinese copy of the iphone, and he spend £150 ON IT, IT CAME WITH A DUEL SIM..meaning you can use 2 sims in it but he tried as many networks as he could think of it it didn’t support any of them, he also could not use many of the phones features like the camera and mp3 player so i would not advise buying a chinese copy…you are much better just buying a cheaper wel known brand of phone, you can get some amazing bargains on ebay. hope this is of some help
