Verizon Cell Phone Backup
I have a Verizon LG cell phone. I would like to download my cell phone contacts onto my computer as a backup?

on your phone go to get it now and tools/ back up assistant. Download this program to your phone set it up and it automatically backs up all your contacts with Verizon and when you get a new phone just restore all the backed up contacts to the new phone, I did this and it works great it automatically backs up and as you add new contacts it backs them up too.
The other way you will need a USB cable software and drivers for your phone to do it. If you want to go this way search on-line for Prolific driver pl2303 for your phone and bitpim (free) software then buy a USB cable on eBay or something and it should work. Install the driver, Install the software, plug the phone in with the USB and it should work fine.
