Verizon Cell Phone Issues

If someone calls my cell phone (Verizon) from Japan, will I be charged extra – that regular minutes?
I know they charge for making a international call from my cell phone, but if someone calls me from abroad not overcharge me? In a landline, this would not be a problem … but I wanted to know if different from receiving regular calls on my cell.
If you are receiving a call, the network essentially does not care where it comes from the call. Carries the caller is responsible for making the connection to the U.S. carrier and is the caller who pays rates or charges for the process. The only think that will do is use minutes, as if it were any other call.
