Verizon Iphone Facetime 3g
Several questions on the Verizon iPhone, Feb 10?
So I currently have the motorola droid, and i’m upgrading to the iphone 4 (preordering it on feb 3rd). On my droid, i can get on the internet FAST and everything with 3g, and i never need to have a wifi source. Since verizon is a different network, would i be able to do “facetime” and be able to get on the internet just as fast on the iphone 4? Or is it just the android market. This is probably a stupid question, haha.
I read an article where the guy did a very unscientific test, simply tired to download the NY Times homepage on an AT&T iPhone and a Verizon iPhone. He said the Verison iPhone was lightning fast compared to AT&T. So probably you’ll do fine with the iPhone. The internet is all about the network, not the phone (at least a good phone…)
Also, the Verizon iPhone is supposed to act as its own wifi hotspot, so that won’t be an issue.
