Verizon Phones Haiti
Im going on a cruise next week and I was wondering if I could use my verizon wireless phone?
I have the nation wide plan and the cruise is going to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Casa De Campo, Dominican Rep, Labadee, Haiti.
I just wanted to see if anyone knew that if I used my phone in any of those places, will it cost me extra?
Yes u will, but call VZW first and ask to have the international plan put on your phone. They will ask u where u r going as to the best rates u can get. It didn’t cost me anything so I didn’t remove it. I went to Bahamas and another time to Canada.
Don’t forget to use the area code of who you are calling, even if you calling somebody that is on the trip w/ you. I tried calling my husband while in Canada, didn’t use the ac and got someones home phone in Nova Scotia.
