Why do they say you can’t talk and surf the web at the same time on Verizon wireless?
I have a Blackberry Bold from Verizon and I can talk on speaker phone or bluetooth headset and surf the web at the same time. Why do they say you can only do it on AT&T?. That is not true.
Droid_Master, so you are implying that I am lying. Well, all I can tell you is that I talk and surf the web at the same time on my BB bold from Verizon Wireless. I will not call the news stations but I will go by the Verizon wireless store and ask them what is so special about my BB Bold. then post it over here. Stay tuned.
Actually, I figured it out. I was surfing the web thru my Wi-Fi connection while the phone call was going on. so it is true.
because its a know fact that CDMA can only handle 1 set of packets on a string from radio to APN in the tower… unlike GSM which can handle multiple. Moreover, the new droid HTC Thunderbolt is supposed to be the first CDMA Verizon phone to allow voice and data at the same time thanks to dual-core power!
If your bold is “talking” and “surfing” and “apping” and “IMing/BBMing” ALL at the same time, then you made history! Call your local TV station! Seriously… cuase your the first!
