Can I change my prepaid cell phone number?
I bought a prepaid Verizon phone at Walmart. I live in San Bernardino, CA and my zip code is 92407. The area code in SB is (909). When I set up my phone I got a phone number with (760) area code. (760) is usually for the nearby Victorville and Palm Springs areas and parts of northern San Diego County. Can I change it to phone number in the (909) area code? Will I get charge if I change it?
No there should not be a charge. Just take your cell phone to a nearest Verizon Store and a sales person can give and change your cell phone number. Just tell them you live in San Bernadino and the area code is 909.
