Verizon Phones Tech Support
How can I access my Yahoo mail with Verizon WirelessSync and not have it mark downloaded messages as read?
I’ve set up my Verizon cell phone to access my Yahoo account using their WirelessSync application. It reads it fine, but once it has downloaded the message headers and I later visit the actual account, all the messages that have been downloaded are now marked as “read” whether or not I actually read them. Verizon tech support tells me that I need to set up the account so that multiple clients are permitted access, but that has to be done on the Yahoo side. So how do I go about that? Thanks.
You can use Yahoo Go and it will act like separate accounts on the same account…if that makes any sense. Your messages will be unread when you go online even if you read them on your phone. Just remember to exit the application after scrolling or reading through them.
