Wilson Cell Phone Amplifier
Okay 10 points for the person who answers this question. I get low signal because of the new steel roof.?
I had a roof installed on the house, its made of steel, before the signal strength was 3-4 bars inside, now its 0-2 bars i get. I contacted Wilson electronics about getting a cell phone amplifier and they said it was 700.00 for the wireless model. When I step outside I get 5 bars of signal around my whole entire house.
Are there cheaper options then that, that will work for what I need. since I have cingular I need one that runs on their frequency. I want to atleast gain more bars then 1. It’s not just cingular either, my friend has verizon and it has the exact same problem, is it the steal roofing or is cingular lying?
most likely the steel roofing b/c metal/steel interferes with the wireless signal wave sent off and in of the cellular device
